Teamwork in Texas!

Teamwork
"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken."
Ecclesiastes 4:9-11

Since Texas has lifted the stay at home order, the staff at our three Texas sites (Houston, Friendswood, and Corpus Christi) have all been able to help each other out with some ongoing projects.  Since we all live and/or work together on a daily basis we are already a part of each other's social distancing bubbles.  Having no volunteer teams here has definitely changed what the day to day looks like for all of us, but we have still been able to steadily serve in the communities around us during COVID-19.  We have been so blessed to come together and make some progress in some of the homes (these are homes that no one is living in right now so we are able to maintain social distance from our homeowners).  It is such a beautiful thing to see everyone's unique gifts used to serve the Lord as one team united through a common love for Him.  This has provided such a help and encouragement to all of us during the absence of volunteer teams and our normal routine.

As many of you know, I was hoping to visit home and continue to raise support while I was there at the end of this month.  Due to all of the travel restrictions, I've unfortunately had to cancel that trip.  I so look forward to when I am able to travel again safely and look forward to seeing all the folks back home.

It has been such a blessing to see all that God is doing all around us.  Whether that be working together to get the job done, praying for one another, serving the communities around us, or just spending time together for some fellowship and laughs-
God is good all the time!  And all the time, God is good!
Financial Update
God has been so good in continuing to provide faithful and generous supporters.  I recently sent out a mailing with a financial update and commitment cards and have already received some replies.  Currently, it looks like in monthly support, my budget is now up to about 11% covered in recurring monthly gifts, in addition to some generous one time gifts as well.  If you feel the Lord leading you to help support me financially in the ministry and have any questions, I'd be happy to share more information with you.
